The Shop

We invite you to experience our unique store Nature's Vignettes located in the Creamery Building in the heart of historical downtown Kent.

By combining a love of the garden, a flair for decorative painting and a touch of imagination, Sarah has created an eclectic mix of furnishings for the romantic home and garden. When you walk through the door you will being a journey into the wonderful world of trompe l'oeil wall murals, stenciling and specialty paint finishes, and before you leave we hope to show you how to transform your own home.

Classes

We provide hands-on classes on a regular basis. Join us to discover fun, innovative ways to add warmth, visual interest, and beauty to your home.

Classes are taught by our experienced instructions. Subjects vary from the basic techniques of stenciling and faux finishing to mural layout and specialty paint finishes; we will show you that any surface than can be painted, can also be decorated. And you don't have to be artistic!

Classes are small, usually 6-8 students. This ensures that each student receives the attention they need, but it also means they book up fast. If you are planning to take one of our classes it pays to sign up as soon as possible.

Supplies

We carry a large selection of wall stencils from the nation's top designers, and they are gorgeous! Each one offers a way to transform your home, and to create a unique setting for any room in your home. Stencil designs range from architectural and arts & crafts borders to free flowing mural elements, and everything in between. If your taste tends towards classical vines and ivy or towards the whimsy of frogs and fairies come and see us. We have them all.

Paints, brushes and supplies, as well as instructional books and videos on all aspects of decorative painting are available.
