Stenciling Classes at Nature's Vignettes

All of our hands-on classes are taught by experienced instructors. We provide all necessary supplies and keep our classes small with a maximum of 7 students to ensure each student receives individualized attention.

Stencil Class $60.00

This 2-hour class is excellent for both beginners and those of you with some experience. We focus on technique, teaching you delicate shading and layering of colors, using large, multiple overlay stencils. This technique may be applied to walls, floors, furniture and fabric. (Includes 3 stencil brushes, a $16 value).

Beginning Faux Class $60.00

This class introduces you to the popular art of "faux finishing". Learn simple techniques to achieve great results in ragging, rag-rolling and sponging using homemade glazes.

Under the Sea $135

Combining mural techniques with freehand painting, glazing and stenciling, you will learn how to create this gorgeous undersea scene. Learn how to give your ocean floor height, light and layers of depth with placement of undersea elements, surface reflections and rays of sunlight. This is an advanced class, you must have taken the stencil class prior. Bring your extra stencil brushes (Includes lunch and 3 brushes.)

Beyond Stenciling $135

In this 6-hour, hands-on class, you will create a wonderful vignette on canvas layering multiple stencils, and applying them by using a variety of techniques. We will combine, faux finishing, stenciling and shadowing. This is an advanced class, you must have taken the stencil class prior. Bring your extra stencil brushes. (Lunch and 3 brushes included)

Exposed Bricks with Vine $85

In this fun, 3-hour, hands-on class you will learn how to create "fool-the-eye" exposed bricks, with a flower or leafy vine over the top. Brick stencil and 3 brushes are yours to keep, ($42.00 value).

Trompe L'Oeil Molding $75.00

In this hands-on class you will combine a simple faux finish with a new technique in stenciling to create the 3 dimensional look of architectural carved stone. It looks so real you want to touch it. (Involves some simple hand painting) Stencil & 3 brushes are yours to keep!

Spring Flower Pot $85.00

In this fun, hands-on class you will learn, start to finish, how to create this gorgeous cookie jar. This is not only a wonderful accent for your home, but with these techniques you can create beautiful handmade gifts. (Lunch and 3 brushes included.)

Class Cancellation Policy

We must be notified at least 7 days in advance for you to receive a full refund or credit. After 7 days there is a $35 rescheduling/ cancellation fee. If you find you cannot attend you may have another person come in your place.
