Brushes
Our high quality stencil brushes have a wide flat head made of densely packed natural bristles. They are easy-to-use so even beginners can achieve professional-looking results. The shape of the brush head makes it easy to spread color smoothly and evenly on a variety of surfaces including walls, painted finishes, paper and fabric.
Many stencil brushes have sparse stiff bristles that create brush marks on your surface. Our stencil brushes have soft bristles that hold, spread, and blend the paint beautifully without leaving hard brush marks for a naturally blended look.
Larger brushes are used for larger cut-out areas of the stencil and smaller brushes for smaller, more detailed cut-out areas. We also use our larger brushes for applying the base color, and subsequently smaller brushes for the darker colors in shading.
A larger brush allows for more coverage and even though the natural instinct is to want to use a smaller brush in the smaller areas, a larger brush will allow for maximum coverage, and allow you to finish your project that much quicker.
